All my own na so so quotes but I beg ooo How many of us agree with the saying "KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE AND YOUR ENEMIES CLOSER"?
This is a true life story and I don't know what I would have done if I were in her shoes.
One evening about 10pm I got a call from a friend. I wasn't feeling well so my 1st instinct was to ignore the call. Then against my better judgment I took the call.
She wanted to know how I was doing, how my girls where and the usual preamble. I knew there was something up so I waited patiently to hear what she had to say. When she was done she texted me a number and told me to find the ladies Facebook page, look at her and get back to her.
I looked at my phone and said I would like to know/ hear the end of this. The next morning I got the details she asked for (Don't ask me how I got it) called her and gave them to her and I asked her what was up, and she told me later.
I gave her some hours, trust the Nigerian woman in me who loves gist, I pinged her and asked her for the gist na, and she called back with the down load.
Mehn!!! women dey try oooo, cheating husband, abusive husband etc...
Anyways she asked me to explain how I perceived the lady I saw on face book and I told her she was a young and impressionable woman. She sighed and started the gist....
She travelled a couple years back for treatment and got home after 4 years. One day while glancing through her husband phone she noticed a number with high frequency in her husbands call list. She decided to track the number and constantly checked. She noticed that number was a constant in the dialed and incoming list, so she wrote it down and called it at her own time. It turned out to be a girl (what do you expect) and she started her book of lamentation on the girl. She said then she had a young baby and the young lady could hear the child cry and the girl promised to stop the relationship.
She decided to keep the girl close as a friend, chatting with the girl on social media etc. Now she wants me to get the girl a job.
My problem is that I do not believe that the girl actually or totally cut off the relationship. I do not know but imagine what she has to deal with ( by force friendship) to give her peace in her marriage. Me I no know if I fit oo
