Leadership by Example

The irony of life is when my toddler says to me " Mummy stop that" when I am doing the exact same thing  I asked her not to do.
This simple illustration applies to everything in our life. We are supposed to know the right/ acceptable things to do just by looking to our mentors. I have made a fool of myself by believing that the person telling me what to do was telling me the right thing. I asked for an advice from the person because I felt that their knowledge on what I needed was vast, but the person told me gibberish and when I pitched it to my bosses, the same person came and saved the day.

I am sure I am not the only one that this has happened to.
