Can it really Satisfy

Please i need everyone that has a good argument as to whether money can ever be enough to come on board.
Yesterday while at work, i asked a colleague of mine that worked with the finance department if it was payment week or we had to wait for next week. He laughed and i started to fake cry telling him i was broke and needed money for my daugthers' birthday (#wink, she is gonna be 2, yeah) and that is how our gist/argument started.
He told me how my necessity/ need might be a frivolous spending for another person. I didn't really understand so he explained. This is his story.
He said where he worked previously, there was a young woman. She as an individual was well to do, single and pretty. She was paid salary by her father, double what the company paid. He said that he was close to her and she was the person he goes to lend money from when he is broke. His perception of her was a woman that can never be without money.
This time he went to her to ask for his usual token, he didn't have it behind his mind that she will say no, he just assumed that she will either reduce the amount or give him what he asked. When he asked her this time, she said she didn't have. He was disappointed and he showed it. She saw his countenance, because of their relationship she felt she needed to explain to him.
She called him and sat him down and told him that she noticed that he was disappointed when she said she said she didn't have money. She told him that if she tells him what she does with her money, he will feel its not necessary but for her class and to maintain her status it is important. He said when she was done he understood and felt sorry for her.
Then i taught about it. When i earned less, the money was enough and i even had some extras here and there, But now that i am earning a little more, my finances doesn't take me to the end of the end. It is just an indication that when you earn small you take on just the basic necessities of life, but when you earn more, you pick up another thing and get used to it. (all this story na because i asked him to try and convince payment this week)
Now my question is can money ever be enough.....

One of the very first lessons in Economics was "human wants are unlimited"
Money can NEVER ever be enough, each day our wants increase exponentially, and our income doesnt.
I am among the group of people that frown at the doctrine of "remove 50%, 70% etc of your salary for savings first before you start spending"
Me I say, Spend first and save what is left for the raining day, in simpler terms, do not keep preparing for the raining day, and forget to enjoy today's sunshine.

money can never be enough, But doesnt mean we shldnt save, one of the panacea to success is when we creat a habbit of saving... moving 20% or 30% of what u earn before spending is the best coz it helps u live within your means, if u have all the money ur want increases and he millions you earn tomorrow will never be enough for you,
