NA WA OOOO. WHY PREACH TEAM WORK, AND PRACTICE THE OPPOSITE

I read a story this morning .... i was touched. It is about retarded girl that showed me what team work is. I work in an environment that preaches team work, but when the chips are down they try to tell everyone that they werent involved, it is crazy and sad. I remember an occasion when our boss asked us to do something and we did it, the managenment wasnt pleased about it and they summoned us for a meeting. We all trooped in like sheeps going to the slaughter, we had no idea as to why we were being called. The meeting started with the " I am dissapointed" speech that i am sure must of us have encountered. At this point we still didn't know why we were seated.
When he finally got to the point, we told him that we were given an instruction to do that and we did, he didn't argue further. He picked up his phone and called our boss, our boss started to deny when the four of us shouted out that he did, and reminded him, when and where he gave the instruction, this prompted him to keep quiet and take the blame. It wasn't a funny day, but why will a boss deny an instruction he gave when the trouble starts..... haba. We say na team work, when glory come, we go share, when trouble follow, we go run.......Na Wa O We called them retarded, but they  beat us to unity, enjoy.....

It was a sports stadium. Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in the running event.
* Ready! * Steady! * Bang!!!

With the sound of Toy pistol, all eight girls started running. Hardly have they covered ten to fifteen steps, one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down, due to bruises and pain she started crying. When other seven girls heard this sound, stopped running, stood for a while and turned back, they all ran back to the place where the girl fell down. One among them bent, picked and kissed the girl gently and enquired 'Now pain must have reduced'. All seven girls lifted the fallen girl, pacified her, two of them held the girl firmly and they all seven joined hands together and walked together and reached the winning post. Officials were shocked. Clapping of thousands of spectators filled the stadium. Many eyes were filled with tears and perhaps it had reached the GOD even! YES. This happened in Hyderabad [INDIA], recently! The sport was conducted by National Institute of Mental Health [NIMH]. All these special girls had come to participate in this event and they are spastic children. Yes, they were mentally retarded. What did they teach this world? Teamwork! Humanity!! Equality!!! and LOVE!!!! Successful people help others who are slow in learning so that they are not left far behind.
