Experience; Side by Side

I have been there and done that or better still I don did it. When you go to the delivery room  and had the experience, you can say this.
I used to see myself as a little girl, but my second experiences changed that.
My first experience was easy, it was textbook, predictable and easy. I felt normal, I didn't see the difference except the change in my tongue, and my stomach. When malaria struck, it was something, but after that it was fine.
As its the routine I shopped and got ready for that day. I had it planned in my head. Had the number to my birth partners, cab and my midwife on speed dial. I had my suitcase packed. I was ready. When the date drew closer, it was time to choose birthing options, painkillers etc. Of course as a correct ibo girl, na normal/natural delivery I choose. When they came to painkillers option, I said no that I wanted to feel the actual pain. My midwife was proud of me and started teaching me ways of dealing with the pain.
I Waited for my day patiently, and enjoyed everyday. One beautiful morning I woke up and walked into the bathroom to pee, when I peed on myself or so I thought. Luckily my husband walked in saw me and called my midwife who said we should come in. We did and we where sent home and scheduled for 8am the next day. I was in the hospital the next day without labour and had to be induced. Oh boy was I excited. They set the line and came for the first examination. When the doctor was done he advised I used painkillers since I will restricted to my bed bla bla bla.
I heeded his advice and that made it easy.  I slept through the process and was woken up when it was time to push, then I felt a little of the pain, but before I knew it it was over and I was happy. Wonderful experience huh...
In my second experience I saw pain in 5D. This wasn't text book anything.  There was one stress after another, one bed rest after another and a million slow down then I realised I hadn't shopped.
One beautiful day I went to see my doctor and he said baby was ready and we needed to pick a day to get baby out by inducement if we wished. We picked a date and I quickly went shopping for clothes and submitted myself to the hospital. I decided that since I could avoid painkillers, I would avoid it.  This was my biggest mistake. When the pain came it hit me hard, then harder then hardest, I thought I will pass out. I hung in there and finally decided to beg for pain killers. They claimed they gave me. Something huh, but the pain didn't reduce from the 5D. This time I didn't look at the machines, I begged for sleep but it had travelled for a holiday. The  few hrs felt like 3yrs and finally it was over.
If I have to do this again, I will opt for painkillers or better still stay away....
This is my experience 1Dimension and 5Dimension.
