We all have our definitions of stress, you post your definitions as comments for all to see. My definitions of stress is when I have a very painful headache that I can't even keep my eyes open, when I hear all the sounds on earth in my little head, when I find it difficult to respond to the most beautiful smile on earth; my baby's smile. Even after I pop a pill, I have take a nap to let it go away. I have decided to start identifying my stress factor's one after another and avoiding them, but bad for me my environment is one of it.
I have two choices; either to alter my environment ( this is almost impossible in Lagos) or to deal with it. I think i will rather deal with it. I have therefore conditioned my mind to just sieve and accept only things that are pleasant to it , and to convert unpleasant things, process it and stop it from altering my life. This took a lot of training and help but now I can achieve it.
My final advice as to how to deal with your definition of stress is, identify your stress factor and deal with it.
